A Glimpse into Your Daily Role...

  • Delve into intricate datasets to guide business strategies
  • Employ machine learning and statistical techniques to ready data for predictive analysis
  • Collaborate intimately with stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and deliver data-centric solutions
  • Design bespoke data models and algorithms
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data science
  • Uphold data privacy and adhere to pertinent laws and regulations
  • Articulate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in an understandable and succinct manner
  • Engage in team discussions, contributing insights and suggestions

Your Role

  • Design and execute statistical models and machine learning strategies
  • Conduct advanced data exploration using cutting-edge techniques
  • Augment our data with third-party information as required
  • Improve data gathering methods to support the development of analytics systems
  • Manage, purify, and ensure the reliability of data for analysis
  • Perform on-demand analysis and clearly communicate findings
  • Develop automated systems for anomaly detection and consistently monitor their effectiveness

Prerequisites

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Data Scientist role
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, R, and Java
  • Familiarity with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
  • Knowledge of relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra
  • Proficiency with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift
  • Understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
  • Experience with scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc.
  • Excellent analytic skills for working with structured and unstructured datasets
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
